The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department issues permits and runs inspections for Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Woodland Park and several nearby towns. It also licenses the contractors allowed to pull those permits.
Remodels that move walls, plumbing or wiring, finish a basement, or add square footage need one. We pull it, book each inspection, and keep it posted on site. You never chase an inspector.

March is usually the snowiest month in Colorado Springs, and spring snow is wet and heavy. Roofs, decks and additions are framed to the snow loads in the regional building code.
